Serenity Valley Equine is a youth & adult western riding lesson program on the Swaney Quarter Horses ranch in Fort Collins. Your tiny tots and young kids get to learn on our miniature ponies, while older kids get an intro to gymkhana, trail, and ranch riding on our wonderful, full-sized schoolmasters.

From dog-walking to caretaking 50 horses, and everything in between! Unique experience with alpacas, pigs, cattle, horses/donkeys, goats, rabbits, chickens, salt water aquariums, plus of course, cats & dogs. I'm bonded & insured!

About Me

Hi, I'm Alex! My business is born from a deep love for animals and continues to evolve as I find new avenues to care for our animals, including sharing my knowledge and skills with others. Over the last decade, I've been lucky enough to build my days around animals. Most days you'll find me up early doing chores and walking dogs, then working horses and teaching lessons through the middle of the day, rounded off with evening chores and bedtime routines. I get to live my days outside with pockets full of hay and dog treats, with furry best friends to greet me everywhere I go. I sure wouldn't have it any other way!
